The rules of the road for using CreatorShield. Please read — there are no gotchas, but there are real terms.
CreatorShield is a security intelligence platform designed for content creators. The service includes an AI-powered email threat scanner, brand deal fraud detector, data breach monitoring (powered by HaveIBeenPwned), account takeover monitoring, and a weekly security report.
CreatorShield is operated by CreatorShield ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use CreatorShield. By using the service, you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service.
The service is intended for individual content creators and small creator businesses. Enterprise use cases require separate arrangements.
The Free plan provides unlimited access to the Email Threat Scanner and Brand Deal Fraud Detector. No payment information is required to use the Free plan.
Pro and Pro+ plans are paid subscriptions that include breach monitoring, weekly security reports, security score dashboard, and (Pro+ only) account takeover monitoring. Pricing is displayed at creatorshield.app/#pricing. Paid plan features are described at time of purchase and may be updated with notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly on the monthly plan, annually on the annual plan. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access through the period you have paid for.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once billed. Annual subscriptions qualify for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy for full details.
You agree to use CreatorShield only for lawful purposes. You must not:
Violation of acceptable use may result in immediate termination without refund.
When you paste email content into the scanner, that content is transmitted securely to our AI analysis system, analyzed, and the raw content is immediately discarded. We do not store the text of emails you submit for scanning.
We do collect metadata associated with scans (timestamp, risk score, general category of threat detected) for aggregate analytics. This metadata cannot be used to reconstruct the original email content.

Breach monitoring is powered by the HaveIBeenPwned API. When you add an email address for monitoring, we query HaveIBeenPwned to check if that email appears in known data breaches. Results depend on the completeness and timeliness of HaveIBeenPwned's database.
CreatorShield is not responsible for breach data that HaveIBeenPwned has not yet indexed or for breaches that occurred prior to our monitoring of that address.
Account Takeover (ATO) monitoring is available on the Pro+ plan. ATO monitoring checks for publicly visible signals of account compromise on connected platforms. It does not access your platform accounts directly — it monitors public indicators of unusual activity.
ATO monitoring is advisory. It does not guarantee detection of all account compromises. Act on alerts promptly and change passwords immediately if you suspect a breach.
The CreatorShield name, logo, product design, and all original content are owned by CreatorShield and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
Email content you submit for scanning remains your property. By submitting content, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process that content for the purpose of delivering the scan result. This license expires immediately after the scan result is returned.
CreatorShield is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will detect all threats, prevent all attacks, or be available without interruption. Security intelligence tools are one layer of protection — they are not a guarantee against harm.
AI-powered threat analysis may produce false positives (safe emails flagged as threats) or false negatives (threats not detected). Use your judgment in addition to our verdicts.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreatorShield's total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost income, lost data, or reputational harm — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@creatorshield.app.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under CCPA including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property claims.
By using the service, you waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify subscribers via email with at least 14 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
